This exhibition features 11 interpretive panels answering questions like “Who are the Métis?” and “What impacts did the Métis have in BC?” Each line of inquiry is answered with the stories of Métis people in BC’s past and present – from Amelia Douglas to Jaco Finlay and today’s Chartered Communities.

We were proud to share these stories and will continue to celebrate and uplift Métis heritage in British Columbia. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Elders, Knowledge Carriers, historians and citizens who contributed their knowledge and lived experiences towards the development of this exhibition.
